National Sustainability Education Standards Available for Comment

The United Nations has declared 2005-2014 the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. The U.S. response to the decade is being spearheaded by the U.S. Partnership for Education for Sustainable Development. The K-12 sector team of the U.S. Partnership, with input from educators in public, private, and pre-service fields, has generated a draft set of national sustainability education standards and is seeking feedback on these standards.
