during mission, STS 119
(http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/shuttle/shuttlemissions/sts119/index.html).
Among the crew members are two middle school math and science teachers,
Ricky Arnold and Joe Acaba; Joe was the keynote speaker at the Astronaut
Lacy Veach Day of Discovery, October 2006. Ricky, Joe and Sandra Magnus
(flight engineer, International Space Station) will host a 20 minute live
video and audio downlink from the space shuttle, 12 days after launch
(current launch scheduled no earlier than February 22 with downlink at
approximately 3:15 p.m., March 6th. The downlink can be viewed on cable

students from Hawaii will be asking questions of the astronauts. The
specific downlink date and time will be set when the shuttle launch is
confirmed.
Join us at the 2nd annual FIRST Robotics Competition taking place March
27-28, 2009, Stan Sheriff Center; 33 teams from Hawii, the Philippines,
